We collect what is known as “directory information” on this website, this is data that is generally available in phone books and online lookups and the sort. Minimally, we require a valid email address and your name if you want to receive our announcements. For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Website administrators cannot see your password.
We may collect your IP address and your browser user agent string as part of any deployed fraud protection mechanisms. This is normal web behavior.
If you want to purchase from the online store, we require a valid billing address and a phone number regardless of your payment method. We do not store any electronic payment info such as credit/debit card numbers– any card data entered during checkout are passed through to third-party processors just like any other store.
Your data also includes your purchase history as it pertains to us and it will always be private. We reserve the right to anonymize and aggregate purchase history data for the purposes of supporting and understanding GroNola’s efforts, i.e. “analytics”.
Additional data in the form of comments in discussion threads or similar is hosted here but we are not liable for anything you post or anyway you react. Comments may be parsed by a external automated service for spam detection purposes. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts, and we are the sole determiner of what is offensive. We reserve the right to remove or block bad actors. We reserve the right to change our minds before, during or after any such action.
We will never distribute your data without your permission. We will never sell your data for any reason. We will want to pass your contact info to a partnered vendor in some cases when we think you should talk to them, and we will ask you about it first.
We may use “cookies” stored in your web browser, encrypted or otherwise, to improve your experience on this site. If you are using a public computer to access this site, we recommend you clear the browser cache after logging out. We recommend you use a unique, strange, and long password, and let your password/key manager (whether in browser or out) handle it if you are using your own computer.
By using this site you implicitly agree to all of the above, and you are likewise entitled to an expectation of privacy and respect.
